However, as the report goes on to say, Sheffield United are holding off on sanctioning the move until they themselves have brought in another defender. Norrington-Davies, who came through the academy in South Yorkshire after a stint at Swansea City, has made well over 50 first-team appearances for United, as well as over 100 appearances out on loan for the likes of Barrow, Rochdale, Luton Town and Stoke City. Traditionally a left-back, Norrington-Davies has also been deployed on the left-side of a back three, as well as occasionally playing as a centre-back in a two, too.
That Bio could have been written about Morgan Fox too...we need a specialist Left back

    • Arsenal back in for Eze apparently and prepared to offer the clause value.

      • Is that the £68 million?
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

That seems to be the most common figure quoted.

          • £68 million minus £17 million equals £51 Million profit for Palace.

£51 million times 20% = £10.2 Million to our well deserved directors.

Hopefully they’ll invest a portion of that in the squad.

            Ronnie Edward’s for me.

            Very happy to be corrected.

I always assumed it was a percentage of the actual fee, not the profit? I don't actually know though...

One thing I do know..... we ain't signing Edwards. His next move is for big bucks to a top club I'm afraid.

20% of the fee not the profit.

Also it was recently reported that the £17m went to £20m due to very achievable add ons. £68m x 20% + £20m = £33.6m

I think Sir Les deserves a bit pat on the back for putting that deal together, if it all concludes to the end.

                • I'm reading articles that's it's profit sheep I'm afraid
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                    • I have found this.

"There has been much speculation and confusion over the sell on percentage negotiated by former QPR Director of Football Les Ferdinand, although it is now understood to be worth 15% of the profit made by Crystal Palace. While this is a far cry from the 20% of total fee that many Rangers fans may have previously thought, QPR are still set to earn around £5.25 million plus a percentage of the add ons".

I think its a case of the only people that know are those who have seen the contract. One thing is for sure, Nourry wont disclosure the length of a player contract, so nobody will get a straight answer from him.

                      • All very confusing, I am sure our directors will know how much is coming their way, I think they deserve a payout if they have been propping the club as has been reported.

                        • Per the BBC "The fee for Eze to move to his boyhood club will be £60m"

So Arsenal had him, let him go, and are now (allegedly) buying him back for £60m !!???

                          Crazy, but "Well done QPR"

And didn't want him back until Havertz got injured.

Well we've got plenty injured. Which boyhood rejects shall we buy back?

                              • Read somewhere that Bristol City are looking to shift Armstrong before window closes. I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole myself- seemed a likeable lad here but he's L1 at best.
