Kolli has scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 30 games. But he's only played 982 minutes which boils down to nearly 11 full games.

Hes directly influenced games 7 times in 11 full matches. That's is a very respectable return for a player who won't be 21 until next Feb.

          • Former QPR defender Morgan Fox is set to sign for Wigan Athletic

The 31-year-old’s contract at QPR expired this summer, which saw Charlton Athletic eye Fox for a return to the club he played 116 games for before joining Sheffield Wednesday.

Now, EFL Analysis can reveal with information from our Chief Football correspondent, Graeme Bailey, that Fox has finalised a shock move to Wigan after turning down a contract to stay at QPR.

Initially, Fox was set to stay at Loftus Road, having held talks with former club Charlton.

However, EFL Analysis can now reveal that Fox has signed a two-year deal with Wigan following extensive talks with manager Ryan Lowe, who has persuaded the player to make the move to the North West.

EFL Analysis can confirm that Fox will be presented to the Wigan faithful ahead of the opening game of the season against Northampton this afternoon (Saturday, August 2).

              • By not accepting our contract offers it was always likely that both Fox & Colback would be looking elsewhere. Im sure Colback will be leaving shortly because I cant see him playing ahead of Morgan & Varane. Surely the deal we offered was a pay as you play deal. Also, just too old for a Nourry squad slot.

                  • Do you think Nardi will go? Not sure what he did wrong?
close to Jimmy Dunne for player of the year last year.

Walsh is 23 years old and Nardi is 31.

Due to his age there's more chance of us selling Walsh and making money, so he gets the slot I reckon. Cooper is with Barnsley, so we'll probably keep Nardi this season as back up.

TWO year deal is the key at his age- I'm guessing there's no way we'd offer more than 12 months. Because players pay 45% tax, even if Fox takes a pay drop, the 24 months of net pay from Wigan will tot up very well in comparison to the 12 month total we were probably offering.

                          • Max Lowe - is he coming or was it all just nonsense? Strong rumours on forums and at ground on sat that we were hoping to sign him. Huge upgrade on fox imo. Seems to have gone quiet for a guy that served his notice to his club after not getting paid.

Hard to gauge whether the rumours are just 1 person making it up/speculating or whether there’s substance to it. . Same with the fella Ba who has been allegedly signing for the past 2 weeks.

                              I’d be fairly relaxed if we didn’t have so many injuries and players who have hardly featured or not featured in pre season; the list is ridiculous;

                              JCS
                              Celar
                              Frey
                              Kolli
                              Lloyd
                              Smyth
                              Dembele ?
Esqui (young left back from Brazil)
                              Varane
                              Cook ?
                              Dunne ?

11 players who are unlikely to feature on Saturday (that’s half our squad )or maybe 20 mins in the case of Varane

Dembele, Cook and Dunne all hobbled off on Saturday

                              A sorry state of affairs

                              • we do seem to have an insane amount of injuries - and to Key first team players .

the silence surrounding Kolli, Smyth and Frey is odd.

Lloyd will go on loan but if he is not injured and we don't have any other fit strikers i don't understand why he isn't playing for us in the preseason and early games - he could go on loan at the end of hte transfer window.

Of the other on the list

                                Varane will surely play
Dunne hopefully was precautionary as was Dembele
Cook i think will feature less regularly.
                                JCS - who knows !
And the Brazilian left back will probably be on the bench as cover for Larcheche

we are short at Left back!
