  • The only outgoing could be Nardi, but I have no idea what he'd get sold for, perhaps £1m for a 31yr old keeper would be about right? That works out to be £20k a week averaged out over one season, which would probably cover Dunne's £10k to £30k a week to match what Cook is on.

Celar seems to be getting pushed into Nos 1 striker, so how that would pan out for Koli & Kelman who knows? Do we need Frey, Celar, Koli & Kelman all chasing the one up top role? Perhaps one of Koli & Kelman will be heading out for the greater good of the overall squad balance?

Without an Eze sale, then someone will surely have to be sold to fill weaker positions...???

    • When do we get the £500,000 from Leicester?

Will it be spent or banked?

        • Offer apparently rejected for Kelman from MLS side. Apparently Tylon Smith now signed.

"Charlotte FC view Kelman as a potential replacement for Agyemang, who they sold to the Hoops' second-tier rivals Derby County for a club-record fee, reported to be around £7.5m".

Surely if Charlotte offer us the £7.5m they got for Agyemang then thats great business and he will be sold..???

            • I seem to remember we paid Southend £250,000 in October 2020 for Kelman, a cash bid of £5,000,000 plus has to be taken very seriously, personally I would take it.

His value could crash if he doesn't establish himself as Nos 1 and/or doesn't bag 15 goals or more goals. If there's £5m on the table plus add-ons then he has to go. Surely Kelman would prefer to play in the US leading up to WC26. He'll have one eye on getting into the USA squad and that will be easier playing over there.

How American is he though? You can qualify for international footy via a grandparent... if that's his route and he's basically born and bred over here, or maybe spent the bulk of his life here, he may feel he's too young to bin his life/career in England in favour of a move Stateside.

                    • I dont think we need Frey, Celar, Koli, Kelman and Lloyd all chasing one lone striker role. We also have Vale, Chair and Madsen who can play Nos 10.

Some cover in midfield and defence may be a better use of dosh.

                        AI Overview

Charlie Kelman plays for the United States national team because he is eligible to represent the US due to his father being an American citizen and because he spent part of his childhood living in Texas. He has represented the US at the under-18 and under-20 levels. While born in England, his connection to the US through his father and childhood years in Texas makes him eligible to play for the USMNT.

                          • Hopefully getting him on a free as his last club only paid 260,000 for him
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                            • If we get decent money and sell-on clause for Kelman and this chap arrives for free I guess its good business.
