Feel reasonably positive about things but in the back of my mind, I feel, in spite of a strongish squad, we might still be lacking in 2 areas. One of those we can deal with if Morrison can fill Edwards boots. The other is a midfield dynamo driving forward. Let's see what happens Saturday.Comment

Tbh if you were Ronnie never got a look last season farmed out us plays 21 games 2 goals if he’d been here a season he’d of pi$$ed player of the season played with smile on his face.

I'd love Edwards back here. Can't see it happening in a month of Sundays... his quality must have been noticed by many clubs last season and he has international recognition too. His stock is literally too high for us.
IF the club did make an offer I feel fairly sure it was done more in the spirit of trying to appease a disgruntled fanbase than actually landing their man.
Lastly, I remember when the rumours started a few years ago about a return of Charlie Austen I couldn't see it happening and pooh-poohed it. BUT... we did get him back. So, despite my pessimism who knows with Ronnie?Comment
