Just seen an article saying we looked at re-signing Josh Bowler. Not sure why given we need other positions covered desperately (RB and GK) but it might be a BS article.

We really should have a look at Galymzhan Kenzhebek who played Nos 17 for Kazakhstan v Wales.
Ive just been speaking with a Kiriat Almaty (knocked Celtic out of UCL) fan and he agrees he would be good enough for the Championship and thinks he would be earning £700 a week at the moment.
He plays left and right wing and is 22yrs old and has played 46 games in the Kazak Premier League scoring 7 with 4 assists. It will be interesting to see how he gets on against Belgium later tonight. Transfermarkt value him at £200k which seems a lot for the wages hes on
Player stats of Galymzhan Kenzhebek (Spartak Semey) ➤ Goals ➤ Assists ➤ Matches played ➤ All performance data
Im happy to stay in Central Asia and work for us as a scout!!

I've always liked Bowler - he's usually tormented us every time he's played against us. One attribute he has is a "football brain" which bizarrely many modern footballers don't seem to have. I think modern coaches seem to favour athleticsm and physical attributes over a player's ability to "see" the game in front of them.Originally posted by Sleeping Giants View PostJust seen an article saying we looked at re-signing Josh Bowler. Exactly right I fear. And it makes the game ever less enjoyable. Chase away that danger. Hassle, chase, pull and if all else fails, wrestle them to the ground. Should something slip through, try to get it chalked off.
Reading the game is a rare skill these days. Van Dijk can.
Can also remember Jimmy Greaves and Gary Lineker having the same skill.

Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Emmerson Sutton are joining Morecambe on loan from QPR until January.
The National League club have been interested in Dixon-Bonner, 24, for some time.
And with the transfer window now closed for EFL clubs, the Shrimps are able to land the midfielder along with winger Sutton, who almost joined League Two side Bromley on loan before the recent transfer deadline.
Sutton, 18, has made three first-team appearances for QPR, with two of them coming in the Championship as a substitute.
