Yeah we thought we had signed Frabotta but he ended up at West Brom, however think we dodged a bullet there as he is not rated at all at West Brom, played about 60 mins in total this season for them.

Would'nt mind us signing either or both the centre halves that Plymouth signed in January if they get relegated , they might become available at a decent price. Both were no nonsense big strong old fashioned centre halves and seemed comfortable on the ball.
With JCS never available , Cook out of contract and on big money , not getting any younger, Dunne off and Edwards going back to Southampton , we need one or two .

If we’re poaching off Plymouth I’d rather we tried to sign their club captain Randell (CMF) and Hardie (CF). Both very good at this level, solid, English, Championship players. Randell replacement for Colback, and Hardie (who certainly knows where the net is) could be a ready made replacement for Celar if we offload him.

Understand what you are saying but they would probably cost too much and we desperately need centre halves. We've literally got Morrison who can't stay fit and JCS , the less said about him the better.

Unless Edwards has been told he's not guaranteed a spot at saints next year then I don't believe he will come to us whe he will have most if not all the best clubs in this league offering him a deal. Joining a club who's aim is to stay up won't exactly whet his appetite. If he has a decent agent he won't be coming to us. Shame but can't see it happening.
