Watched him play for Mansfield handful for them and again for Barnsley got a bit about him is he better then Kelman who we own tbh if we didn’t own kelman and he’d scored 27 goals we’d be going fantastic I’d be inclined to give a run to someone we already own

Yeah, a bird in the hand..... I do feel we should only keep Kelman if he signs an extension or new deal though. I can't see point of him coming back for 9 months and then waltzing off as a free agent.

It seems the guy can play multiple positions which might be very handy. At 27yrs there wouldn't be any re-sale value and he's contracted to 2028 with the option. I'm not sure we'd spend big on him, so if Wrexham are after him they'd out bid us.

If he offers us more than Kelman due to the multiple positions he offers then perhaps a swap would do the trick and throw in Lloyd for a season long loan too?

        Davis Keillor-Dunn, 28, from England ➤ Barnsley FC, since 2024 ➤ Attacking Midfield ➤ Market value: €1.00m ➤ * 02/11/1997 in Sunderland, England

Josh Koroma has been released by Huddersfield. I suspect there'll be dozens of handy players looking for clubs after this weekend. Josh is nippy, can cross a ball and scores too... could replace Saito if he's left us.

Agreed no point in him being here until Jan plays half a dozen games and then flogged in jan for 250k or something at some point wen got to go look your our cf Frey can't stay fit for a season Kolli imo not a cf either Celar no idea where he is I can see more of the u21 being used this season but either commit to Kelman or let him go for a fee

QPR are among English clubs interested in Polish striker Oskar Zawada.

Zawada, 29, plays for Dutch side RKC Waalwijk and has been touted for a move to the Championship.

Dutch outlet Soccernews claim Rangers are keen to sign Zawada this summer.

Blackburn and Oxford United have also been linked with the player.

Stats don't make great reading, but him sure he's cheap with only one year left on his contract. I can see something happening on the European scene with Celar becoming part of the deal.

Apparently "up to eight" yet "unnamed" championship clubs are after Kelman.

              Let the fun begin!!

If the stats aren't good, it's probably because he's crap.
Bringing him into the championship which is way better than the eredivise is a bit pointless

                  I personally think we'll sell.
After the way we've treated him he won't sign a contract
But the otherside of the coin is, he's had one good season in the division below.
No guarantees he can repeat that again in that division let alone the champs

Yeah, when I saw his data and age it really didn't add up to me.

I think we need to start thinking a bit bigger in the transfer market. We're going to receive 12million pound tax free so I would expect the owners to give the new manager a decent junk of that money
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Big unit 6ft 4inch and 14 stones, surely Frey covers that style of striker. Think we need some pace up top to run behind

                            Yeah we got that covered.
Agree, would love to see a pacy menace as an option

Alot of that cash is simply going to balance the books.

Sure some would be made available though.

I was thinking that we have so many players potentially returning from injury and loss of form/confidence next season they will almost feel like "new signings"..

Chair had a horrible stop/start 9 months - with that hopefully behind him now he could really hit his stride.
Celar could be fit and sort out any personal/family issues and finally be the player we thought we'd signed.
Madsen looked like he was livening up in the last few games and could have found the measure of the EFL and evolve into the player we've seen glimpses of.
JCS could finally get fit and become the classy rock of our defence.

That's four players who are already here that could combine into a very impressive spine. With Nardy, Varane, Field, Morrison added to that mix it's becoming quite a unit. Then Dembele, Frey, Kolli, Bennie and maybe Smyth make that a decent starting 11. If we managed to tempt Jimmy to stay and unearthed some fullbacks we could morph into a bit of a force. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself a bit but I think my hopes for Chair/Celar/Madsen/JCS could come to fruition.
