NAC Breda defender Boy Kemper is set to leave the Rat Verlegh Stadium this summer when his contract comes to an end. According to Voetbal International’s Joost Blaauwhof, Championship side Queens Park Rangers have shown ‘serious interest’ in the 26-year-old.

Kemper has spent the last three seasons at NAC, featuring 86 times across all competitions and quickly becoming a fan favourite following their promotion back to the Eredivisie. The left-back has decided to depart this summer, with NAC battling relegation in the top-flight sitting 17th.

If it's true then it's a good thing that we're looking at full backs and the sooner we cast an eye on the opposite flank the better as well. The only slight doubt I have is his age - which is on the mark for me but doesn't seem to fit with "the plan."

Sell Kolli, really rate his potential but there is clearly something wrong.

One thing this season has taught us, and it's been the same every year, injuries decimate our potential. We have absolutely got to concentrate on squad depth with some quality. The moment we lose afew key players we find whatever style or system we've been working with fall apart. Our season ended when Burrell and Madsen got injured.

We've had some great results with this squad and i feel to push on next year we just need that solid, stronger back bone.

Full backs, midfielders are absolute priorities.

Interesting comment re Saito. He clearly has a load of potential and also clearly is too fragile. I too would keep him but he needs a dedicated customised training regime and diet. A player of his age should be able to build himself up very quickly given the will to do it. Hard to remember now that occasionally he looked like our best player

Saito gets pushed off the ball like a 10yr old playing against 16yr olds. He gets blocked off too many times as well, which means play breaks down. Hes better suited to the European leagues, or Saudi / Asia.

Get our £2m back and churn the money onto another player. We havent got the time or the space in the squad to be developing so many players on the pitch.

Those cutting their teeth on the pitch this season include Walsh, Mbengue, Morgan, Poku, Kone, Burrell and Bennie.

Saito has not been good enough and he'll be 25 yrs old by the start of next season and should be close to his prime years not being discussed as developing.

Too lightweight and after a poor season get rid and use his fee on experienced championship player.

I totally agree on Mbengue. He needs to be assessed based on his actual playing position not the one he's been thrown into because we've mismanaged/completely ignored the specialty position that is RB.

With Dunne & Edwards first choice CBs and Mbengue back up CB and RB next season, then it comes down to whether we give JCS or Cook a one season extension. Id give it to JCS and a proper RB incoming. But we wee linked to the CB in Scotland too.

We really need to be selling players this summer, not giving them away cheaply but generating some real income, for me this is more important than any new signings. This would help to prove the current business model is working and sustainable.

Walsh now has championship experience and surely would be a decent nos 2? Sell the other chap Murphy, or whatever his name is now?

Celar cant score at any level now and it a pay him up job, unless a Swiss club wants to release some sovereign wealth on him. Would we get any fees for Santos and Esquardinha? Could we even get £1m for these three?

Good shout on the wages as Cook & JCS are rumoured to be on £45k a week between them. That's close to £2.3m right there.
