Perhaps this 20yr old is better than our 24yr old that need to drop down a league to "gain experience".

We do tend to over develop players and at some point you have to realise that theyre not good enough and clear the decks.

Get these guys off the wage bill and bring some in with quality. Im sure there's some cost cutting in these changes too.

QPR have expressed an interest in Livingston keeper Jerome Prior, according to Sky Sports News.

However, the publication understands that the 30-year-old is being monitored by a number of Championship clubs, meaning that competition for the Frenchman is set to be fierce.

Prior signed a new contract with the Scottish side last summer and has two years remaining on his deal at the Almondvale Stadium.

QPR have agreed a deal for keeper Murphy Cooper to join Plymouth Argyle.

Cooper is set to join the Pilgrims in a move worth up to £500,000. There will be a sell-on clause included in the deal.

Effing ridiculous! The club are demented! Extended Cifuentes contract when he was deep into a massive losing streak and now jumping the gun with JS on the back of a mediocre 12 months??? Should wait at least a dozen games before even thinking about it and nothing should be inked until January. I swear Nourry gets his head turned and loses his judgement when dealing with dark haired handsome swarthy silver-tongued continental blokes. Jesus Wept! We're basically saying to JS we don't actually care how shite this season goes, we want you here for the following season too! Basically ZERO incentive to pull his finger out and EARN an extension. I'm flabbergasted at the naivety of doing it at this juncture.

Wasn't there rumoured interest in him to go back to France last season? Perhaps we think we'll do okay this season with signings lined up? Anyone wanting JS would need to pay us a bigger compo package??????

I would be very disappointed if the club doesnt have a release clause in the contract allowing us the terminate at the end of next season if a top 8 finish isnt achieved?

Stephan has guaranteed a bigger payoff when he gets fired.
His contract was running down anyway.

I've seen other clubs do the same move before they pull the trigger eventually. I personally think Stephan will be fired before the year's end.

We need a much better coach imho.

I don’t mind him getting a new contract & hopefully he’s learnt from last season & with a fully fit team we should improve, let’s just wait & see what happens during the season & then I’ll up date my comments

There have been many fans critical of both Walsh & Nardi and Hamer seemed a total waste of money. Nardi & Hamer have gone, Cooper getting sold after playing in L1 and Walsh being loaned to L1 and will probably get sold next summer. We'll probably end up with two keepers of better quality with Salman acting as third choice.

We now have our own LB, which has to be a better situation, even though RND was excellent last season.

We've freed up big wages in Cook & Hayden and we've betn linked to that midfielder from Switzerland, who plays for the same club as Celar used to when he was on fire. Hopefully there's a deal to be made there with Celar "going home" where he excelled.

Im confident we'll get a RB which allows Mbengue to challenge in his natural position of CB, now Cook is gone. I reckon Morrison will get sold after his loans in Scotland.

Also, all our younger players have now got another year's experience under their belts and should be better this season for it.

I think things are progressing well and I'll be very p1ßsed off if we dont hit that play off 8th spot

Seems a decent bit of business. 25 and just kept club record 20 clean sheets in his only season with them. Good age, he had played a lot of games and prob on low wages too. No brainer. Named in Scottish prem team of the year. If Charles joins then we probably have 2 keepers that are better than any of the ones we had last year!
