    • Would be a great move for the long term plan of the club. Something we simply haven't got & haven't had for many years.

The last thing we want to become is a stepping stone for some rookie manager. I've said this before on another thread a while ago. But if we're to get a new manager he needs to be able to handle all the pressures of the "big stage" of the premiership- the fast/physical style of football, premiership players/managers, money, press, agents, different lifestyle etc etc etc

somehow I don't think "only one way to find out" will cut it.

your missing one small fact Nick. we are not a prem club.

Serious question and one to think about as well.

          • If we look at the defensive part of our play, Steve Clarke could surely do a job.

            • Eddie Howe did f**kall at Burnley, and if he went 4 games without a win here..... if that, there would be Howe out threads.

              • Steven Pressley is doing a good job at a terrible club Coventry. Seems like a no nonsense kind of bloke.

I get that mate, but we're looking to be. There's no point bringing someone in just to get us up and then he be completely lost in the premiership, which in turn will lead to us getting yet another manager in.
                  SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

                  • Think the big question is have the club in the background drawn up a shortlist of possibles in the event a change is made come the end of the season

                    • Gus Poyet

Hopefully Sunderland will go down and sack him....cue him joining us and building a free-flowing attacking QPR

                          • Sherwood if we don't go up. He'll play the youngsters, demands 100% effort and plays tidy football. We might actually see a proper QPR team for the first time in years.

                              • How about getting in that director of football that left Southampton. Pochetinno follows him around. He'll have no choice but to come to us...
