I wonder whether Jayden Wareham would be a fit? Best player at relegated Exeter City last season by a country mile and he was with QPR as a youth until 2019.

St-Etienne were rumoured to have offered to take Varanne in Jan on loan and buy him for £5.2m in the summer if they got promoted.
They missed out on automatic promotion to Ligue 1 and now go into the play off that include games with the team finishing in 16th in Ligue 1.
Fingers crossed they go up and match our £6-7m valuation of Varanne.

With Hayden departing will Sam field come back into contention, few mates who are Norwich fans love him does the donkey work well and what they were missing hopes they’ll keep him
I can see us letting him go even if we lose varane we need a bit of zip in cm imo varane Hayden Morgan all do same stuff with Morgan probably the better going forwards

Free transfer: I've just brought back a few Euros from my trip to Italy recently. Do you think that'll sway it for us against the Polish/Russian clubs that are also interested in him?

I have absolutely no idea whether he'd be coming to us carrying any injuries, but if we do sign him, I do hope they'll be good enough to send his pieces in a flat-pack with instructions.Originally posted by SheepRanger View Post

Be loadsa players out of contract over next few weeks, Seamus Coleman announced today... if he played for us on crutches he'd still be our best FB by miles. Thing is, it's difficult to envisage ANY competent senior experienced player signing up for a 46-game slog to finish 15th when they can swan off to US or somewhere with nice weather, earn more money, play less games and finish 9th...Originally posted by 3London View PostConor Chaplin just announced he is leaving Ipswich this summer- just the sort of championship experienced midfielder we are missing.

I'm hearing plenty of interest is unfortunately surfacing for Madsen. Putting this transfer gossip to one side I feel like it's massively important that we keep him. It's unlikely we'd fend off premier league/top level championship interest in him if the 10m was to come in for him but that would ultimately mean we'd be looking for 2 central midfielders not just a partner we currently need for him.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I totally get what you're saying I'd be sorry to see him go, he was great for us last season, but we really need to cash in on our assets whilst they're sellable and there's interest. Rightly or wrongly this is what our current business model depends on.Originally posted by WeAreQPR12 View PostI'm hearing plenty of interest is unfortunately surfacing for Madsen. Hes going into hus 3rd season and at best has two years remaining. We paid €4m for him, about £3.5m, and if theres £10m on the table he'll be gone. You know our finances and business model. Theres no way he'll be allowed to walk out that door on a free. Generating profit is guaranteed then, whereas promotion will always be a very small potential against the bigger teams in this league next season.
Take the cash and we start again......
