End of the day he couldn't get in our team which was shite at the time, Fact. Why do you think he's ended up at Reading finishing like 19th in the championship.

Highly rated at reading and a lot want him to stay as do a lot of the Forrest fans who don't understand why he was loaned out in the first place.
Don't get me wrong I ain't trying to make the lad out to be the second coming or anything but he is a very good championship player and effective at what he does. I think most managers in that league would love to have a Jamie Mackie in their squad.

No from me, runs around granted but not the best football brain. If he was 20k max then maybe.

He left because he wanted first team football, see no problem with that.

Please make polls like this public in future. Makes it SO much more interesting.

I voted "yes". He is a character player and every team needs some of those. Has an eye for goal and has shown he has what it takes to be part of a championship winning team. Also won't be looking for 100k per week!

I voted yes on the poll, but not quite sure why. Must be because he is a CC- specialist now and also impressed me when Reading played Arsenal in the cup.
If he actually ends up here I hope CR&co will work on his tendency to run into blind alleys.

I love the guy. His workrate, determination, love for the club and energy is great IMO. Even if he doesn't play every game he seems like a good guy to have around the dressing room. I'll never forget that winner against Liverpool either. Sent the stands into pandemonium!

i was one of the first people to defend him when some of the divs on here were coating him,a decent honest player who always tried his best,it meens a lot , and we `ll always have best wishes for Jamie,
But we are now hopefully learning lessons and looking to the future ,even if it take a couple of years ,youth ,attacking football , we cant look back .....

good answer west as I was starting to lose all hope for this forum
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
