At least 4, I bet. That's the type of world we live in.
An interesting assumption, but one that is fatally flawed due to the fact that King is a woman beater.

Personally I wish there were more gay men - meaning more women for the rest of us!

Seriously though, anyone who is homophobic really should move to an Arab country or Alabama or something, you'd fit in much better there.
Can't beat a good OLD cliche, OLD being the operative word.

Why do you have to accept / like same sex stuff, just because some liberal do gooder, focus group or the BBC says you should ?

too many people brainwashed into thinking its ok and normal. Too many people afraid to go against the hysterical liberals and gay lobbyists..if you are gay then fine your in a small minority of people just get on with it. I blame the media giving the minority a voice,,,they love to jump on a minority bandwagon.

Not at all. My point was being that some would be happy to have a vile, woman beating piece of s**t at the club, but would so no to another man because he's gay.

              Not flawed at all.
              Your mum would love me...

Would never have liked King at the club...like Terry he is a ****bag. A gay player? dont care if he's good enough. If he wears pink boots, screams like a girl and starts crying when he's fouled then there maybe a backlash from the fans tho just depends whether he is an "in your face, look at me,Im gay and proud" Louie Spence kind of gay character

Of course it's flawed thinking, I mean, have you done a survey, or something?
I mean, how can you be so damn sure???

As far as I can remember, there was near uproar on here when we were reportedly interested in bringing King to Loftus Rd, and not being a betting man normally, I would hazard a guess, and lay a small bet, that most, if not all, who were dead set against the proposed move, were people like VBlock, myself, W12, etc.

There are now 3 threads on exactly the same subject, gay football players,OMG will one of the mods please put all of them into one thread,I also note that this 3rd gay football thread does not have a " couldn't care less " option!

what people do in their private lives, is their business. We may find out about things but if you are doing the business on the pitch, who really cares what you do off it.

Totally agree. Would have no problem with an openly gay player at the R's.
A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

                          "NUESTRA GLORIA, VUESTRO INFIERNO"

(If you don't understand it, then learn Spanish. It is the language of world football.....)

That's the whole point, nobody would give a toss, but an "openly gay" footballer suggests one that would be forever banging on about how great it is to be a sausage jockey, when most of us will be saying, for fook's sake, mate, it isn't great, it's seedy, it's sordid, and the less we know about your sexual tastes, the fookin' better.

The view on this poll is unrepresentative of the fanbase , to say the majority of the fans of QPR would openly welcome a bender is wide of the mark. I have no openly queer mates or even know anyone like that so why do have to welcome one at the club. I give queers no time of thought ever, homophobic dunno but I rather they kept their business to themselves. There's enough mincing queens in the mainstream media we don't need the club turnt into some sort of circus for gay activists. I can just hear the opposition calling us Queer Poof Rodgerer's or something along those lines. I'd be interested to know how many off our liberal leftie fans would join in homophobic chanting if say suddenly ashley cole come out of the closet.....bunch of ****ing hypocrites more like it the majority of you like most lefties out there.

Funny to see it is the same people who endorse football violence are the ones who are clearly homophobic. I would rather have 11 gay players on the pitch than be associated with this type of knuckle-draggers.
