You stump up the 8 or 9 million for him thenSome of the stupid money we have spent, 8 or 9 million doesnt sound a lot for a prolific striker who with charlie, will be perfect for the prem and not need to spend again. We got the money back for samba and have got a massive draw coming for remy, please tony, just once more mate. Then harry will only need a couple of players when we go up.
Seriously, the club has to balance the books. I'd much rather take Remy back next season that spend more on this unproven player in the Premiership. No brainer if you look at the bigger picture.Comment

Agree with this but we really need someone who can cut it for the next few months, we can't afford to gamble on anyone though.Comment

Just what I was thinking! Nothing is guaranteed. Not trying to bring back painful memories, but didn't we all feel that if we only could get Samba last year we would survive in the prem? We had pages and pages of posts here saying how wonderful and necessary for our survival he would be......
Yes Rhodes is a great goalscorer, but he could get injured, or lose form; stranger things have happened at QPR.
I'm happy to leave it in the hands of TF and HR.Comment

I would expect around £8-9m, we are in a financial to be able to ask for that type of return, unfortunately Blackburn will be looking at least another season in the championship, need money. Some type of deal prehaps based on going up and staying up?Kept the faith!Comment

I would base any deal on goals scored by him. Say 5m upfront, another 1.5 for promotion and another 1.5 for 50 goals? Am I dreaming?Comment

I hear ya, but the financial rewards are gained by getting up and staying up, we could offer a bigger carrot by basing it on retaining our position in the prem, I think?Kept the faith!Comment
