if Espanyol are interested, may be clubs in the Premiership are as well.

Hard to determine how a 5m package might break down, but it would represent a substantial profit for us. I like Varane and have stated before "what a quality player he is", but I would be inclined to sell.Originally posted by SheepRanger View PostAn overall package worth up to £5m for Varane isn't going to cut it. We'd surely be looking north of that amount as the initial payment???

He can still have a foundation in one city and move to another. Especially if its near where he's from or an area he's close to.

Just seen a slot on SkyNews featuring Ebere showcasing his Foundation and having kids down at their training facilities. Great interview showing his love for the kids in south london.Originally posted by Abseits View Post
Am I the only one beginning to think Eze will do a "Wilfred Zaha" and spend his whole life at Palace? Weren't they paying North of £200K p/w to Wilf before he went to Saudi for a late-life pension boost? Makes me think that as long as they're in The Prem they will roll out the carpet and pay Eze big bucks to remain as their talisman. Maybe we need to stop banking on getting an Eze windfall any time soon....
Is that something he would do if he was about to leave? Or is this a charm offensive to show other clubs he's conformable in the spotlight when there would more than just football at a bigger club?????
It's 50/50...?????

Or the most QPR thing that could possibly happen is he runs down his contract and leaves on a free!!

Like the positivity, let’s start on a high note this season. New manager new tactics new attitude and new players. A recipe for success. In all fairness we should have done better last season but it wasn’t a disaster. Top ten would be greatOriginally posted by Abseits View PostI was thinking that we have so many players potentially returning from injury and loss of form/confidence next season they will almost feel like "new signings"..
Chair had a horrible stop/start 9 months - with that hopefully behind him now he could really hit his stride.
Celar could be fit and sort out any personal/family issues and finally be the player we thought we'd signed.
Madsen looked like he was livening up in the last few games and could have found the measure of the EFL and evolve into the player we've seen glimpses of.
JCS could finally get fit and become the classy rock of our defence.
That's four players who are already here that could combine into a very impressive spine. With Nardy, Varane, Field, Morrison added to that mix it's becoming quite a unit. Then Dembele, Frey, Kolli, Bennie and maybe Smyth make that a decent starting 11. If we managed to tempt Jimmy to stay and unearthed some fullbacks we could morph into a bit of a force. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself a bit but I think my hopes for Chair/Celar/Madsen/JCS could come to fruition.

Can't see us straying from the clubs stated model and signing anyone over the age of 23, except renewals.

Alot of that cash is simply going to balance the books.Originally posted by WeAreQPR12 View PostI think we need to start thinking a bit bigger in the transfer market. We're going to receive 12million pound tax free so I would expect the owners to give the new manager a decent junk of that money
Sure some would be made available though.

Big unit 6ft 4inch and 14 stones, surely Frey covers that style of striker. Think we need some pace up top to run behindOriginally posted by QPRDave View Post
Yeah doesn't add up at all
