We just signed Poku and everyone is happy. Well, Kelman was up there with him for best player in Div 1.
With the club no longer disclosing contract information it's hard to know how much longer he has with us. His last contract expired Jun24 and as an unproven player he may only have been offered a two year deal, so it's quite plausible that he's into the last year of his contract, but perhaps with an option for another year??? If we get offered silly money then he has to go because the model is to have a sustainable club. Silly money being upwards of £10m. But if offers come in around £5m and JS likes him, he should be prepared to sign a new contract to stay with us.

Listened to a Really interesting podcast about championship teams and their finances for next season and generally about how well they are run.

basically Leicester and Sheff weds are f*cked
Watford and Hull are in serious trouble.

but when the expert was asked who currently in the championship was being well run - he said this will surprise a lot of people but QPR are probably the best run team in the league! Who’d have thought.

don’t know how to post a link but the podcast is called Second tier and it was this weeks episode

£4-5m sell on fee for Jobe Bellingham helps.

Rumours that interest in Kelman is heating up. As an unknown quantity at championship level Im sure we've learnt our mistakes from the passed and will cash in. WBA leading the pack....apparently.

Who do you think will go before deadline day

can see Lloyd go out for the season on loan maybe the lads from development squad tuck, Bennie possibly Emerson Sutton given caliber ahead of him at mo but he’s could equally be kept at hq

still think we need a lb i know vale can play lb but he’s sees himself further up the pitch

all in all look far better equipped than last term

Wouldn't surprise me. Two defenders confirmed this week, another apparently terms agreed. Still need a LB but can't see Fox getting too much game time. Colback I see being behind Field, Varane and Morgan and also suspect we will sign another central midfielder or two either permanent or on loan.

Im not convinced our approach will change much even with the Eze money. The owners are ploughing in £12m a season to keep us going. Any Eze money might give them a year off! Im sure the new Dunne contract wasn't cheap either.

Nice to see us doing some business. Maybe that means we could see Dunne more in centre or perhaps new guy competition and cover at RB.

Hope the aussie lad is decent. Last aussie rb I can remember was Andrew mcdermott who was actually quite good. Never really got a run of games and seemed to disappear shortly after.

At least it means Santos won't be back. Genuinely the worst rb we have seen in a long time. Miles out of his depth. A park player would have offered more.
