Don’t quite get the Saito love in, not a bad little player, however if true £5 million fee is 4 million too much.

Birmingham have 3 or 4 Japanese players already and can pay over the odds so i think they might be a draw for him.

I do think we need him he offers something different to Poku and Dembele - he gets to the byline way more and doesn't want to cut inside all the time - his work rate and Defensive responsibilities are better and he can last a full 90 mins which the others seem incapable of doing atm.

He's a lively player that can make things happen, but I cant see him worth more than £1.5m up front and £2m based on appearances. Any figure of £5m surely would only happen if we got promoted.

He seemed happy with us, so I cant image he'd go to Brum or Derby over us.

All of a sudden our forward line is starting to look very exciting.
£2.75M being quoted as the fee which is pretty good if we paid less than we sold Kelman for

If only Mr Celar would prove his worth on the football pitch.

Schalke waa very angry that we pulled out of a deal to bring Ba. They taught they will get rid of him and earn some money as well. Yet, it seems that we run out of physio beds! Well done with the Kone signing.

We have Frey, Burrell, Kone and Bennie fighting for the lone striker role. There's alone Kolli who can play centrally.

Surely Celar will be sold now and money set aside for other parts of the squad?

Perhaps we could sell Celar to Schalke?

Positive signing and rather a statement one. I doubt he would have come here if we were viewed as likely relegation strugglers.

Also said we are closing in on bringing Koki back although will believe it when I see it.

Burrell has looked a handful in what little we have seen so far. Add likes of Dembele, Chair, Poku and others behind him and if Stephan can unlock the secret of getting our attacking play more cohesive we have potential. Also of course likes of Kolli, Frey and the much maligned Celar.

Richard Kone has finalised his move to Queens Park Rangers from Wycombe Wanderers. Huge coup for QPR beating a numbers of their Championship rivals to the talented striker. #QPR #Chairboys

Looks like we really got him. Now just wait club to confirm it
Great signing but not sure we will play him in case he gets injured

QPR have pulled out of a deal to sign Pape Meissa Ba.

The Senegalese striker, 28, was expected to complete a transfer from German club Schalke. However, Rangers have opted against the move after receiving the results of his medical. They remain on course to complete the signing of Richard Kone from Wycombe.

Im glad about this because reading between the lines from just passing the medical at the second attempt, it shows hes let his fitness go. Not a good sign for a pro player. Perhaps seeing Kolli & Bennie tonight also influenced this decision?
