I'm not so sure.

There was quite a lot of criticism last season about the weakness of our midfielder and we needed an enforcer style player. We're also planning a high intensity style next season. I agree we have priorities at wing back and strikers but.....

Do you guys think our current midfield have the defensive attributes and legs for next season?

Absolutely. They're fit young lads.

Anyway, I find the concept of a defensive midfielder or someone "shielding the defence" hugely dull and negative, particularly if we're fielding 3 CBs. It's basically saying we can't trust those THREE defenders to defend. But, notwithstanding the formation, I feel Amos, Dozzell, Field and Duke-McKenna give us plenty of cover in that role. The only midfielder I'm struggling to fit in is Stef, he needs to stop swanning about like he's doing us a favour just being here and get his ass in gear.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is in talks with QPR as Micheal Beale looks to ramp up his recruitment at Loftus road. Callum currently owns a property in west London and is believed to join QPR,which is believed to be a season long loan. Announcement coming in the next few days
