I was skimming through the Wrexham v Grimsby game and two players caught my attention for their incredibly long throws. Tozer (Wrexham) and Cropper (Grimsby), these guys could throw the ball almost half the length of the pitch. Not only did they assist with goals from throw ins but could clear danger from defensive throws. How many times do we concede the ball from our defensive throws in our own half. Of course both players need to be good at defending too.
John McAtee midfielder for Grimsby stood out too.

As for interest in Keane, perhaps he has finally started to fulfill the potential Ferguson saw in him.

Ballard is a good shout. I would also like to see QPR make a loan bid for Luke Plange from Palace. Surely we are on good terms with them after selling Eze. Also, that winger from Derby .

Oh, and a deal for Scott Twine would be good before he goes elsewhere.

As you say, he was a kid back then in 2014, but he seems to have learned more about movement off the ball and getting into scoring positions. He is now in his prime.

If he stays at Wigan he will be playing in the Championship anyway. We will see how he does and maybe kick ourselves if he scores 15+ next season for Wigan or some other team.

Can't believe he didn't get an offer suitable to him from a championship club.
I spose maybe a Rotherham or something like that isn't as appealing as east Anglia.
Wish him nothing but the best

In the Hoos video he said that there were plenty of managers who wanted to come to us and manage the quality players we have. He rattled off some names that included Andre.

A slip of the tongue or have we agreed to sign Hray when his Watford contract finishes at the end of this month?

Balogun has only played 60 games in 6 seasons, we’ve had too many sick notes lately.

Stating the bleeding obvious though, we need forwards and full backs first and foremost.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Don't want to pee on yer chips but that paper was the one who announced Beale was staying at Villa

Cropper from Grimsby once again set up the winner with a long throw. Beale wants to work on set pieces so perhaps he could do with a long throw specialist as well.

Apart from using them in attack, we could actually have someone who can get real distance on throws to clear the ball from immediate danger.

I like the idea of getting one or two of those from Villa. Archer or Davies in attack would be good.
