As you say, Cropper was not considered good enough at a Premiership Burnley. He had been injured hence no club.

He signed on a short term contract and could be offered a trial just to gauge how he performs is all I am saying. We give trials all the time.

Are you seriously saying that Dykes Dickie Dunne etc are so useless in the air that they couldn’t get on the end of a throw?

As for a quick throw, our players have looked slow at these in both attacking and defending situations

You’re the one who is being stupid? How do you even know if Cropper is not even good enough to develop into a Championship defender. Look at Tofolo ? He was playing at that level with Lincoln a few seasons ago.

As for our level of football , we are useless at keeping possession from a throw in, let alone create anything from them.

Having Dykes, Dickie etc as targets in the box would be more than enough for Cropper to aim at.
And it won’t turn us into some kind of direct side just because we have a long throw specialist.
