Adults in replica tops is so cringe. They're for kids
I should probably write something insightful here

I can't begin to imagine the outcry that must have occurred in 1953. Or 6 years later.

      http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Quee...rk_Rangers.htm

It would appear that some form of TF existed in 1948 though as we appear to have learned quickly.

And for the really sad amongst us, this also contains a few badge designs to get your teeth into.

They are the ones who have to wear the kit to the bar or games and get stick about looking like Reading.
I never wear a shirt to a game and most certainly wouldn't wear one to a bar !

Not just the shirt, the 'kit'. Shirt, shorts and socks, possibly shin pads too...

Jesus christ guys get a grip. Its only a bl00dy football top. You don't have to buy it if you don't want to. God only knows what you would be like if something tragic happened in your life like losing a family member or having cancer. There are real problems in life and a football shirt really isn't one of them. And i can guarantee that you will see thousands wearing it at games not giving a flying fu€k about how they look in it. I make Beefy 100% right on this. Find something worthwhile to moan about.

Problem is, the team we support must play wearing this shirt ... in crowded stadia ... and even on TV sometimes.

Ah, the "We look like a blue Arsenal" debacle of 1948/49.....remember it well......the club were swamped with angry postcards from fans

Kirill And your point is what? Are you saying that they're gonna say "not wearing that. Its only got one hoop on it and the back looks terrible. Don't you know I'm a footballer, someone who should be looked up to and loved by millions. This will tarnish my image and life will never be the same again. Sob sob."

I thought my point was fairly obvious: boycotting the shirt sales won't change much because at every home match the club will still look a laughing stock yet again to anyone who is not blind and is even half-familiar with our traditions.
