I would definitely welcome him back. But I expext a sever amount of Money this year already has to be spent on players that will secure a top 5-8 spot in the Prem quite fast. He ultimately wants CL-football..alledgelly.

I've seen what he can do, I'd take him back no questions asked.

When he was on the pitch, he give us everything, including spectacular goals.

That's a key point. No matter what his private thoughts may have been, he always gave 100% which is all as fans we ever ask for, no matter who the player is.

Did the same at Newcastle too, even with all the speculation.

I guess I need my head examining because I definitely do not want him back, but think we should get as much as we can for him. The reason is his attitude:

          1) he is a hypochondriac and the smallest thing and he says he is injured. At the beginning of last season he did not want to play in the Championship and so he said he was injured. Apparently he did the same thing at Newcastle because he wanted to make sure he was fit for the World Cup.
          2) I think he has similar problems to Diakite.
          3) He has apparently fallen out with every club he has played at and has never stayed at a club for more than a couple of years.
          4) When he first comes to a team he scores a lot of goals. At Newcastle, for example, he scored 8 goals in 10 appearances by November. For the remaining of the season he made 17 appearances and scored 6 goals. The same thing happened at Marseille.
          5) I think he will be a disruptive influence on the dressing room.

I would be interested to know Joey Barton's opinion of him. I assume he play alongside him for the first part of the 2012 season in Marseilles.

                Agree 100%.
We need players who will play for the club no matter what division we might find ourselves in.
Remy isn't that type of player, more's the pity.

What an odd thing to say. Imagine we had just been relegated. You reckon Charlie Austin and Matt Philips would fancy sticking around in L1? Barton? Danny Simpson? Of course not, and nor should they, for the exact same reason it's perfectly reasonable for Remy not to want to risk wasting his best years a division below his ability.

Yes only if 1 team come in for him, if a second team come in they can still outbid.

They theoretically could offer a higher transfer price. In reality it would be immensely stupid to do so, because it would give them no advantage of any kind in signing the player. If the fee was met, the player could talk to them, and we couldn't insist he moved to the team that offered a higher fee.

If anything it would suggest that that team maybe isn't being run by particularly savvy owners and they probably should be avoided....

Out bid in wages and signing on fee, not transfer fee.
Im certain your agent mate has given you a bum steer with this one.

Can he play in the playoff final for us?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

I'm old fashioned. I believe a player who signs a 2/3/4/5 year contract, should see out at least half that contract as player in the hoops of Queen's Park Rangers.
Whether he thinks it's beneath him to play in a league lower than the premiership is neither here nor there, he must have known there was more of an even chance of us going down when he arrived.
I really do hope that we never enter into such a ridiculous contract like Remy's ever again.
