Im sorry but do you support QPR?! I thought we liked a classy midfielder in amongst the sloggers...

In all seriousness though, Newcastle had a much better team than we have right now and if no one feeds the strikers then they arent gonna score too many mate.

It's almost like we need some who can chip in with 20 goals and set up another 15 odd goals....

          OH WAIT!!!!!!

We have had something like 50 shots at goal in the first 3 games of this season - plenty of feeding going on, only we don't seem to have a goat

i understand where you are coming from as we have always been associated with mercurial number '10's' but the harsh reality of the championship is blood and guts will prevail. i think hoilett will unlock most defences for us this season and whilst no tarabbt in the maverick stakes a suitable alternative!

Hopefully HR's recent relationship with Scotty Parker will swing this one in his favour but why oh why oh why does he keep doing this, must drive Beard and Fernandes crazy.

They are all as bad mate..if its not Fernandes on twitter it is Harry in the papers. Best for both of them to get the job done first then blow the trumpet.

Personally i dont believe that Beard and co are stupid enough to be paying him anywhere near the reported £70k a week he was on at Spurs...... been there, done that, learnt the lesson.
Yeah I can see that when you are talking about the likes of Granero, Boswingwa etc but this is Scott Parker. He will add to the dressing room rather than upset it and his will to win and effort will benefit others. The main dressing room unrest was because people were not giving 100% and had a bad attitude regardless of what they got paid. Obviously the ones that were on bigger wages with that attitude made it even more of an issue.

Parker is good enough to play in the Premiership. If we have to pay him Premiership wages to get him to sign then so be it. He will only add to the dressing room and not upset it.

Didn't 'Arry say something similar about the Hooper deal?

Parker will be a sensational signing - he's a class act and will lift everyone at the club!! He will be a fans favourite very quickly, him Barton and faurlin in midfield will be a class act - Parker also has a decent pass on him and will feed out strikers nicely! Will be over the moon if we sign him!
Another cb striker and lb and think we will give this league a good crack
