In all seriousness though, Newcastle had a much better team than we have right now and if no one feeds the strikers then they arent gonna score too many mate.

i understand where you are coming from as we have always been associated with mercurial number '10's' but the harsh reality of the championship is blood and guts will prevail. i think hoilett will unlock most defences for us this season and whilst no tarabbt in the maverick stakes a suitable alternative!

Personally i dont believe that Beard and co are stupid enough to be paying him anywhere near the reported £70k a week he was on at Spurs...... been there, done that, learnt the lesson.
Parker is good enough to play in the Premiership. If we have to pay him Premiership wages to get him to sign then so be it. He will only add to the dressing room and not upset it.

Parker will be a sensational signing - he's a class act and will lift everyone at the club!! He will be a fans favourite very quickly, him Barton and faurlin in midfield will be a class act - Parker also has a decent pass on him and will feed out strikers nicely! Will be over the moon if we sign him!
Another cb striker and lb and think we will give this league a good crack
