Good player just getting tired of signing over 30's players. Its like we have no plans for the future. So if we go straight back up we will need to overhaul most of the squad again.

Am dumbfounded by some of the responses - every other club In the championship would love to have Scott Parker and I'm sure some fans at prem clubs are thinking why are we not in for him!!!

To say he can't pass properley when he's played for cheslea England and spurs is ridiculous and laughable!! He will be head and shoulders one of our best players this year!

1. I´m not sure about that. He´s 33, injury prone and has always had his "engine" as his biggest asset. If he lost his engine he is average. I`m afraid he is another one of these expensive old QPR signings that we have been so blessed with in the past. All name, fading ability. 2. Really hope so.

He is 32 for the record. Plus for the past 2 seasons he played over half the league games for Spurs who finished top 5/4 really. Not to mention European and cup games on top of that. If he plays at that standard and you call that fading ability which you do not deem good enough for QPR ( In the championship ) I assume only Messi and Ronaldo are good enough??

I too would like to see more investment in youthful players but that doesn't mean when you can pick up someone like Parker or dune they are not good bits of business!! Parker and Barton over 30 in the middle,with hoillett and faurlin and maybe Townsend or a new young winger that's not a bad mix age wise!! Austin and Zapata or whatever he's called there young!! Yun and Simpson aren't exactly over then hill! We ain't doing to bad! To many doom mongers on here who are clueless!!
