Charlie it could be, but they do look very similar, maybe just me getting too excited as I think Scotty could do a job for usComment

Be a very good signing for a championship club with the style of football played in this league.
With regards to Parker overall IMO players like him who are highly rated, even captained our national side, is exactly what is wrong with English football. A player who gets stuck in and works hard, passes 2 yards sideways etc is looked upon as a good player in this country. Look at the world elite and tell me Scott Parker would be excepted.
Anyway we play in the second tier of English football so he will be a good signing for us if wages are a good price.@chrisrobson9Comment

I'm hoping there could be younger players coming in on loan along with Zapata if that happens. As for Parker, he doesnt strike me as the kind to move for a pay day - its more the regular games. Its good to see the QPR Transfer policy still aims at buying over 30s to the club. I think we now offically must have the oldest side in league. So much for buying a couple of good youngsters eh?
I dread to think what Parker will be on £ per week? Do you think he is coming here to play or do you think he is coming for a final pay dayComment

No it´s not. IF Mbia and Granero goes we still have Faurlin, Barton, Jenas and Henry as possible CMF (also have Derry out on loan). IF we can get a good deal it might be worth it but it is not exactly what we need right now. A CB, LB, Wingers and a FW is what we need.Comment

As you state Derry is on loan at another club, Barton could still be going, as could Jenas and Henry has been brought in as squad cover, Parker is a very very good addition to the squad. I am sure in coming days we will see at least another striker and left back added to the squad as well and probably/hopefully Townsend as well.Comment

1. I´m not sure about that. He´s 33, injury prone and has always had his "engine" as his biggest asset. If he lost his engine he is average. I`m afraid he is another one of these expensive old QPR signings that we have been so blessed with in the past. All name, fading ability. 2. Really hope so.As you state Derry is on loan at another club, Barton could still be going, as could Jenas and Henry has been brought in as squad cover, 1.Parker is a very very good addition to the squad. 2.
