Neither Walsh or Nardi have looked great so far. Frustrating thing is have heard great things about Murphy and we have sent him out on loan again. Can't help but wonder what would have happened had we kept Murphy and loaned out Walsh.

In terms of Dieng wouldn't be against it. My take is he looked very good for us for a while but had faded a bit by the time he left. If Nardi improves would probably stick with him. Did well for us overall last season, just seems to have lost some confidence.

Feel Nardi has been good enough to be considered No 1, Walsh very poor. Thought Dieng was ok but I'd rather see us dip into the Euro market or lower leagues as there seems to be so many young up and coming keepers.

Don't see the point in going back in for someone that was ok, we have to uncover gems.

Can’t really comment on Murphy not seen enough of him. Nardi decent shot stopper but he’s poor with ball in the air.

Walsh poor with the ball at his feet poor at crosses not better than Nardi but decent shot stopper

Dieng probably better that the others with his handling does catch more but I always felt he let far too many in from distance

The way football is going with long throws and teams like Sheffield Wednesday seemingly basing their whole approach around scoring from set-pieces I think it's essential to have a big strong keeper - I can't see it's viable for a keeper to be shorter than 6'2"ish unless they are supremely talented. Having seen Cooper warming up I'm convinced he's not even 6' tall, he's too short I reckon.

Sheffield United will continue to keep a close eye on Rhys Norrington-Davies’ progress on loan at Queens Park Rangers this season with a view to potentially bringing him back to Bramall Lane, even if the smart money seems to be on him being allowed to see out the season at Loftus Road.

The Welsh international was sent to the Blades’ Championshjp rivals in the summer transfer window with a view to playing some consistent football after a torrid time with injuries in recent seasons.

Reports from the capital have suggested that Norrington-Davies is thriving and with United looking to freshen up their squad in January that has led to suggestions amongst the fanbase that United could bring the 26-year-old back to Bramall Lane in January.

Asked if he had given any consideration to that idea Wilder, speaking ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Blackburn Rovers, admitted: “He needs to play. I think everybody knew that for quite a while. He's had some unfortunate injuries over the past two and a half years, and everybody wants to play. It’s a good club that he's joined.

Like every other player that's out on loan, we have a loans manager that goes and watches them. So whether it's Billy Blacker up in Scotland or Rhys in London, we have reports and we watch them regularly and see how they're going on.

“We have to look after number one really, first and foremost. So we'll see how that goes over the next eight, nine, ten weeks and see how that goes. But he’s not doing himself any harm at all, playing well at a good club that's going well in the Championship.”

Its possible that RND will be heading back to Sheff Utd and Dunne is better suited to a CB role. So, these two areas seem most important to me, even though there are demands for a fourth keeper.

I would be amazed if Kolli isn't sold in the winter window, because there doesnt seem to be too much faith in him at the moment. But how much is he worth, surely theres £2m out there with a 20% sell on?

Kolli 2 mill never , not scored enough goals for anyone to come in with such a big offer , he's not getting game time because he's not good enough.
A keeper is a must though.

Bus 2 million for a striker in 2025 is as cheap as it gets. I'm not a massive Kolli fans but he's scored goals in the championship so 2m is a bargain when you think about it

This is why it's a head scratcher for me because based on his minutes on the pitch his goals and assists are pretty decent. Of course there are rumours about his dad and maybe they're both regarded as a pain in the ass. For his age I think there has to be £2m out there for him. I really would be interested to know why JS isn't even getting him on as sub. It seems hes being shown the door for Jan. Sending him out to League One and getting him scoring might get us better money in the summer, a bit like Kelman. Kolli seems a better championship player than Kelman!!

1, Id bite someones hand off for £2m for Kolli
2, id bite someones hand off for £5m for Varane and allow Morgan to develop or recruit another got Hayden and Field who can play cm def
3, we need a GK who can command his 6yd box Nardi ok with ball at feet but imo needs to be more dominant in the area for me, Walsh aint got it imo can't kick and if you can't kick at his age game over imo
4, find a RB from somewhere have RND at lb shows how much better we look with a proper rb
don't think we need to go made in jan 2 x solid players in positions were poor in enough imo

Think what we have learned though is Madsen aint the player we thought he was last term out imo been our player of the season to date this season credit to him wins the balls keeps the ball and moves it around with ease
