I do not feel we've seen the best of what Marti can offer.
I do feel that Marti is his own worst enemy in terms of team selections and tactics.
I would much rather he stay another season at least, than have yet another revolving door manager that we already understand the level of, O Neill, Rowett, Cooper, all of whom many would say are better than Marti, but in reality where are they going to get us.
I want to see the club rebuild, I want to see youth on the pitch and budgets finally sorted. I want to see some decent football.
I think the best chance of doing that is having someone here for the project. I think Marti can be that guy. Just needs to get better at being Marti.

Leeds will dump Farke once all the celebrations have died down... he knows this division inside out. Whatever, we keep hiring managers with minimal Championship experience. We need someone who's managed at least 100 Championship games, can work pragmatically with the board/owners/scientists and has a reasonable win rate.
I don't want "a number 2" taking a step up or a manager with success at a lower level or in a tin-pot foreign league... they invarianly don't make the transition and we're not here to provide apprenticeships whilst they learn. We are screaming for a seasoned Championship campaigner to steady our floundering ship.

If his reps are speaking to West Brom as reported he needs to leave.Me for 1 not impressed with his tactics or team selection on many occasions and apart from a good 10-12 game run this season not done that much .Yes been injuries but even when they are fit he’s put them on the bench.Think could be a struggle again next season with a few leaving,Not sure what the clubs ambitions are ,seems as though it’s just to stay n the division ,buy cheap ,sell for more but even thats not working. Some clarity should come out of the club regarding ambition before people shell out for season tickets again with the promise of an exciting season ahead when it clearly will not be.

Didn't we sack Olly for talking to Leicester years ago? I dunno how football manager contracts work but surely openly looking for another job with a direct rival breaches that contract and results in termination?
Makes me wonder if he'll last the week...

The biggest concern if all of this is true is despite all the noises of stability, we just cannot acheive it.
Was Sir Les really all that bad? Heard a podcast the other day (high performance) and genuinely feel, if what he says was true, that he tried his upmost to fix a #### situation. One we're still very much paying the price for.
Hoos was ultimately rubbish and ineffective.
Nourry was supposed to be a fresh start combining those roles, no?
If his number one goal was stability, falling out with (no matter how many people say he's rubbish, Marti is perfectly capabale of what we need right now) a coach that is being touted by many as a talent? Surely he has to be taking the blame for this one if true.
I'll say again i think Marti might be a very good and effective coach, and we have not seen the best of him.

Managers are no different to players in that they want to test themselves at the highest level possible.
We are a small club with a small budget and the vast majority of the time we're a stepping stone in someone's career. Marti will be able to work with better players at WBA whilst we'll still be shopping for bargain bucket.
Like most of us, I've seem so managers come and go and Marti will be no different. Someone new will come in and we start again.

West Brom while a bigger club no doubt, is not a turn around gig. It's a gig where he has a team that should be competing for play off spots and should really be lower to mid prem, he'd be meeting expectations.
We've got that potential for sure but cannot find the right mix to realise it. We'd be a full blown turn around.
Still, money talks, and if you don't get on with the right people, football is ruthless.

We had the same end of last season Sunderland bound etc still here. I have same option of everyone past and present over the years some have had to leave as we needed the money but if they believe the grass is greener elsewhere of you go if a player doesn't put in 100% and we've got a few at the club imo off you go same for the manager.
Stay and create history and walk out to Andy Sinton in the forever Rs club or jog on
I personally think its smoke mirrors game with CN to say look we need better options
