Too old and no resale value.

Have a read of the letter issued by the Board last week.

£250k a week works out to be £35k a day. I suppose we could sign him and ask him to come in for training on a Monday morning and give him the rest of the week off....!!!

As Sheep says salary for us would be ridiculous and could be disastrous flop. If he was willing to take average Championship salary (probably about 1% of what he gets now!) with generous bonus package would take him. Even a slowed down Sterling would be brilliant at this level if he was up for challenge.
I'd go along with that. He could have the skills to add that extra edge to our performances and results AND be a mentor to our developing players, if the price was right.

BUT, he'd probably want silly money, so its not an option.

on another note I can’t wait for the season to start bored as fk the women’s euros is pony not watched 1 min of world club and the crickets either good or bad and I get than from Rs all to often but not this season

If Julien likes Kelman then he should sign a new contract. If he won't, then sell him for good money now whilst his stock is high.
Tbh Kelman only one who looks like he can stay fit Frey no chance Kolli made of matchsticks Celar played other day did ok ish but he's been out longer than JCS which takes some doing I can't really see us selling him with others durability and he linked up well with the wide men, trouble is dilemma offer him new deal and he's not got it this league or decent cash comes in and replace with even a loan or permanent

Very rarely happens this day and age I'm sad to say. This thing about us spending Big is also a miff, in fact we did the opposite brought in loads of free transfers on enormous salaries. Only samba and Sandro were involving large fees but Harry's little black book did the damage.
