QPR and Oxford to battle for Ben Davies
Ben Davies has had a colourful career to this point, with the 30-year-old expected to be on the move once again as he is of interest to both QPR and Oxford. Davies is currently contracted to Rangers but spent the last season on loan at Birmingham City, helping them get a record points haul in League One. Now, as reported by Pete O’Rourke on X, formerly known as Twitter, Davies is set to be the subject of a tug-of-war over the versatile defender.

Wrong!!
QPR are entitled to and will get a % of the whole deal overall.
Up to Palace if they are happy to take a player in lieu of cash.

Tempting to put a little cheeky one in sheep. Still could be a decent squad player and very different to what we've got.We pulled their pants down last summer!!
"FLW say that Bristol City are ready to let Armstrong head on for pastures new just a year after bringing him in from Championship rivals QPR. Joining for a reported £2.5m, the 22-year-old penned a contract until 2028".

If Arsenal pay 30 mill and give Trossard for instance , who is worth 30 mil say then we will get 20 percent of the 60 mil. Whatever the player is worth involved in the swap is taken into account.Leave a comment:

What QPR should get and what we are actually entitled to are different unfortunately.
If player swap is involved we will get very little .
We only benefit if it's a straight cash dealLeave a comment:

Agreed. Whatever the overall price of the deal is what QPR should get their share of.
If Palace are happy to take a player instead of cash would be up to them.
Not QPR's problemLeave a comment:

Strange that he is still free. 18 goals from midfield last season and no one haven“t sign him yet. Of course i would love to have him, but he is totally out of our reach.Saw today that Josh Brownhill has left Burnley .He would be an excellent signing for us , box to box midfielder , great motivator ,aggressive , good engine and scores goals; Would love to get him but he will probably sign for a lower Prem team or Birmingham , Wrexham or Ipswich. Better option than Hayden and probably on less money.Leave a comment:

FFP. Palace will want high as possible. Our sell on must be based on Eze valuation. Trossard value doesn't matter.Although it looks Eze is all set for Spurs but someone told me (probably made up) that Arsenal might still be in it still with Trossard as part of a swap deal, how do you value a player who is nearly 31 though? No doubt Palace and Arsenal will scam us to benefit themselves especially as the £68 million clause has expired.

Pretty sure it came directly from LF at the time. I recall that others offered more upfront (Newcastle and West Brom?), but he wanted Palace so we said we would accept Palace offer so long as they give us 20% of a future sale priceLeave a comment:
