Barnes starts and plays an hour for top of the league Burnley, 25 points ahead of us yet he's deemed not good enough for us. Wonder what Kompany sees in him that some of our super fans don't? Maybe Kompany should go bake cakes too!
Ok … let’s have this right . Yes barnes played a hour for “the team top of the league “ only because they are Short up too and twine is coming back from injury. Burnley have made barnes available.. so kompany clearly see what I see in him .
what did he do in the game ? Missed 2 sitters other than that he done nothing . Funny enough when he came off they went on to score 2 and won the game
dykes would of done the same job barnes done last night . Milwall / stoke and ….. drum roll please …… Burnley are after dykes so let me get this straight .. you have said “you wonder what kompany sees in him that our “super fans” don’t “ well clearly kompany sees the same what I see if his trying to off load barnes and get dykes in (or another striker which his activity looking for ) you said about barnes “watch him go “ lol

I think you might be the actual barnes and was hoping to impress us all with “watch him go “ and get us all excited.
There isn’t any more Debate about this . Barnes best before date as well passed years ago

    as you were matty

        • Have Nottingham Forest sold any of their promotion season players. There must be a huge squad there needing to find a home?

          • England midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to reject a new contract offer from Borussia Dortmund, with QPR feeling they are leading the chase to sign the 19-year-old. (Star)

I’m sure some posters on this site would find a negative about him .

Wouldn't fit in with our style of play , holds on to the ball for far to long

                  • Lacks experience and may not have sufficient frailties to keep the treatment room busy enough and fit in with the rest of the squad.

                    • Chelsea 'obsessed' with beating Man City to Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in the midfielder who started his career at Birmingham City. However, it is expected that Dortmund will command a fee of £130m for his services.

Naaa he will sign for us

                      • That Fulham lad Josh Onomah sounds interesting.

Onomah ticks a lot of boxes at Championship level, with his technical ability, passing range and his reading of the game, all at a very high level.

He would also provide athleticism and tenacity in the middle of the park, something the R’s perhaps lack at this moment in time.

He would fit right in. That’s exactly what all our players do - ball hogging is what we used to call it in the playground.

it’s why we are so easy to defend against- some many unnecessary touches of the ball from the likes of chair and willock which slow the game right down.

when you look at the Arsenal v Man Utd game on Sunday- the fast counterattacking football is a different world to the type of football we play

                              • I was hoping we would have had a couple more through the door by now, i know we've let a couple go who were nowhere near 1st team action and Shodipo on another loan but with key games v Hull and Huddersfield coming up id sooner them in before deadline day to give NC better options.

As for faster counter attacking play we lack players with pace and technical ability. if you asked our mob to play 1 or 2 touch football no hope takes some 2 to get a ball under control
