I must be attending the wrong ground then as rarely seen him break into a jog let alone dribble. We all see different things I suppose

      • The definition of dribble is vague anyway: (in soccer, hockey, and basketball) take (the ball) forwards past opponents with slight touches of the feet or the stick, or (in basketball) by continuous bouncing. The only stat worth knowing is the score.

        • A dribble means he hasn't lost the ball? So if a player dribbles then losses the ball it's not a dribble?!

It's an incomplete dribble by definition.

What makes you think I'm winding you up? The fact that I think a player is talented? Get off it mate, everyone will have opinions on players, I just like to back mine up differently to others who may prefer backing their opinions up with what they see. I try and mix and match but that doesn't make it right or wrong, its just a perspective. My point with Fer is that I see a player who needs more confidence and to know exactly what his status is. Once that is sorted and he gets a few bits of coaching down, he can be an excellent and high level midfielder IMO. That's based on what I see and take from the stats. You may see it differently and that's fine, but I'm not deluded for believing he is good.

As for the shooting, Chery has a 32% accuracy from 50 shots, Fer has a 33.3% accuracy from his shots this season. Anything else you'd like me to disprove.

As for you not mentioning defending, I put this statement back to you "when he's not attempting reckless lunges that could get him a red"
As it happens, he hasn't gotten a red this season for a challenge he's made, he's even only gotten booked twice and if its anything to go by, he's only made just over a foul per game. Reckless? No.
I complimented his 'Rs in' technique for beating a player. Still can't recall what anyone would call a dribble. A shot that ends up between the white bits is 'on target' - doesn't mean it was ever likely to go in the net. Has he troubled the keeper very often this season? Or have his shots just been catching practice? He lunges in high up the field because he doesn't chase back in midfield and he has been lucky to have 'missed' on a number of occasions. As has been said to you many times stats show quantity not quality so can be manipulated to say what you want.

You said he could be a world beater Nas, the only other person who thinks that is his Mum.

I have right in front of me the screengrab from whoscored.com for the chalkboard of the nottingham forest game where he attempted two tackles. Both of those were in our own half, one was just wide left of the box. Incidentally, both of these were successful tackles. He also managed an interception in our half.
You also mention that he 'lunges in' and misses on a number of occasions. Well, out of the 35 tackles he's attempted this season, he's only 'missed' 9 times. Now, to have a tackle success rate of 74% playing in attacking midfield is impressive, especially considering only two players have made more tackles with a better success rate in those positions and those are Maghoma and Judge.

As for his dribbling, are you telling me that running beyond your man that particular way does not constitute a dribble? He's turned and gotten past his man, that to me is a dribble, the technique by which it comes about is irrelevant but I'll be on the lookout next game for a supposedly 'traditional' dribble.
Stats only appear manipulated to those who don't like what they see.

Well that's one less person getting on his back unnecessarily every game, anything to help our player achieve his potential.

Don't cry Nas. Just because he is good on FIFA 16 is doesn't mean he is good in real life.

I'm not even going to dignify you with anything more than the fact that I work for the company that makes the game in research and editing and I have to be on top of everything about every one of our players all the time. I have nothing more I'd want to add regarding this to you. I'll happily discuss with others though.
