      Comedy gold.
He does, and yet he still wins more than most despite this, it's a case of fine tuning with him.

What I will say, as a stat is that Fer has played 20odd games thus season for us and has dominated appox 0 of them. That's a massive 0% success rate and far lower than the superb players that you have mentioned in your post (please never compare Fer and Yaya Toure again).
Ridiculous of you to say I'm comparing them quality wise, I'm comparing them positionally and stylistically. Both are big midfielders who can dribble and shoot. One is better than the other for a few different reasons, which I won't go through because it would be useless to waste my time doing so. But I will continue to compare them because that is what differs those who use stats with what they see to have a complete understanding of the sport. Here's one for you, guess who made more successful dribbles last season than Yaya? Leroy Fer. Here's another one, guess who made more key passes last season than Yaya? Leroy Fer. Guess what makes Yaya the better player, the fact that he makes more passes. That's the key difference. That's what makes Yaya the better player in truth, as well as a few bits of tuning. Ultimately, I cannot tell you what to think, I can merely post up the numbers that I know to be true and that's it.

Is dribbling up blind ally's eventually losing the ball with next to no final product supposed to impress us now

So other than a few bits of 'fine tuning' and completing a few more passes, and going by the fact that Fer is only 26 and open to a lot more improvement than Toure who's 32, would you say Fer has the potential to be as good as Toure or even better? Cos u are quite clearly 100% ####ing nuts if you believe that bud.

If he completes a dribble, it means he hasn't lost the ball...

Does sticking his wide ass into an opponents stomach and turning round constitute a 'dribble' cos if so his stats must be through the roof

If we make some bad mistakes over the next few transfer windows, he's got the potential to be our best midfielder one day.

                    • Gotta love a 'stats' debate! Trying to argue/discuss with a statistician is pointless. Stats are the answer to all our woes in life.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics comes to mind too.

                              • Problem With Fer is that he is of so much more use for a prem team than he is to us. That´s why we should offload him and a buy a player who is willing to commit himself to us medio/long term.
