Pearson is thought to be willing to cash in on Wood this summer with the player entering the final year of his contract at Leicester.

The news has alerted a number of clubs with the likes of Wolves, Leeds, Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday all having expressed an interest in Wood.

If true I'd be very happy - got a lot of time for Shane Long. However, I can see him going to another PL team if he does leave, could do a job for a side like Villa

It's not just about how many they score though. Some players are heavily involved in allowing others to score. A combination of the two isn't a bad thing.
