    TransferDavid @FootieDav

Steven Caulker to #QPR is almost a done deal. Undisclosed fee. Will sign a 4-year deal, earning £80k a week. Could be a great signing by QPR

No way are we paying 80k a week. Also the fee is not undisclosed as he had a release clause.

Agree, the guy must be talking through his hole.

          i would say £40k-£45k max.

ricroc reckons he has signed a 5year deal on 45k.

Its now getting really boring journalists and know it all ITKs just throwing the 80k a week line out with no evidence based on previous actions

Move on chaps wonder if they will all show as much interest in the frugal QPR as they did the wasteful some how I feel the lazy journalists will not

Until another take over happens at another club with some big money, it wont go away.

Morning, long time reader, first time poster.
Like everyone I have been waiting and waiting for this news to be confirmed.
I was wondering whether with the press team being all together at a wedding yesterday of one of them (can't remember which) would this be why we have not seen anything regarding Caulker actually signing? The stuff regarding the store was rather limited as well. Just a thought.

Don't think players can officially sign on weekends?? Could be right though. We shall see, i am still not confident.

Oh ok, I was quite pleased with that thought. The rumours appear to be getting stronger. Hopefully tomorrow is the day then.

If we had offered him 80k a week, he would have signed ages ago.

                              Another load of boolax.

It's exciting that we appear very close to finding out whether Caulker is a brilliantly astute person, cunningly weighing his options before making the obviously correct decision, or a terrible human and awful footballer driven only by a mercenary desire for cash.

if it's the former, we then have the countdown till his first game, when we'll be able to decide whether he's a world-beater or not the right sort, dependent on whether he successfully completes his first pass.
