Not splitting hairs oomps but during his radio interview this morning what Harry actually said was he hadn't made any enquiries about Dawson which is not quite the same thing. He did also say that he would love to have Dawson in his side, so we are not out of the woods just yet

I wonder did Harry/board watch WC at all? There were lots of great cb's who could do job for us and would'nt cost a fortune. Why we are hanging this one individual for weeks. Plenty of fishes in the sea,but we are stuck this one.

Lots of centre backs playing for their country in the biggest games of their careers. Naturally, they will give the performances of their lives. Probably nothing more dodgy than signing a player on the back of a successful World Cup, which West Ham will find out to their cost soon by splashing out huge money on Valencia.
