my only worry now is hull city. they have walked away from harry mcguire after a third bid was turned down.

they seem to be in the market for a cb and have bags of money to spend.

Dawson is waiting for us to move as doesn't want to leave London, our first choice is obviously Caulker just waiting for it to all fall into place. If Hull have walked away from maguire (good move by them as vastly overrated) it may be because they believe Caulker is coming to us and therefore Dawson is available to them, complicated these transfers!

Nothing can be done today or tomorrow anyway as I'm sure the FA are closed. (That's why transfer deadline days are never on a weekend). He may have signed last night as been rumoured, but won't be made official until Monday.

Seems Fernandes told someone at the club shop today that Caulker was our player so seems he has final committed to us as I was told a couple of weeks ago.

If that's true I really really wish tony would keep quiet until it's on the official . I know he's probably chuffed if he's signed but still until it's done and officially announced he should keep schtum . IMO

If you read the various threads I was told by a mate at Cardiff that he was coming here and that we had offered him a very good deal week or so ago. Even when the mirror and half of twitter said he was going to cardiff I confirmed my confidence but a deal is never complete until player signs. Several factors, simple change of mind being one, agent wanting or getting a better deal or another club increasing their offer so nothing is ever certain.

What I will say is get a bit of info from mates from my coaching days but rarely post it on here, pretty much first time to be honest but can understand why people don't as so many suspicious posters!!!

How can he being going to Cardiff when he is already there? Yes things change but your info was a deal had been agreed not confirmed so you did not know 2 weeks ago that he'll sign only that he had agreed a deal. They're two different things; of course you could be a time traveller?

Share info - great, but I find it a tad smug to pretend you knew something would happen before it actually had. Sorry if I'm raining on your parade as rumours are fun and keep them coming

If you don't believe it why bother reading it and then taking the trouble to reply. Lot of people, like myself, like to keep in touch with possible signings, if I hear anything I will post it as I hope others will. I wasn't in the club shop but others where and have shared that on twitter believe it or don't couldn't really give a t##s.
