Coz off the past all the bad players we brought other players don't want to go yo a club with a relegation fight not happy but what can you do as a rangers fan but hope things turn around

This is a absolute joke if true and very embarrassing. We are suppose to be a club with vision and this obviously hasn't been put over to caulker.
Palace play horrible football in a shiiitttee hole of a ground and pulls has a awful record of.getting players to represent their country.
Also after splashing out massive money on over aged players for the last few years we have now decided to be frugal with a genuine talent who is a long term investment and lose out to a rival club.
This shows a massive lack of ambition if true, we shouldn't be losing out to palace on these type of deals and tbf very worrying sign.

For me it feels like fans have moaned the last two season for doing it wrong in the transfer market and demanding we change the approach but because the signing are now not flowing through the door and we seem to be losing out to rivals everyone is tearing up their views on doing it the right way and promoting going back to the ways they complained about not so long ago

I think the fact that were not splashing the cash (we still may do) to me demonstrates that we have a tighter leash on things and Harry is not getting the chance to run wild in the aisles. Suppose the proof will be in the tasting come the end of TX window

Yep fair comment mate. But I think where we have gone wrong in the past is splashing cash on the wrong, aged players. We bought so many on inflated deals, often refusing to pay really top dollar for a smaller number of really good players. I'm certainly not slating the board if they have drawn the line at paying x amount for Caulker as Tony has already chucked way more at our club than any fan cd possibly expect - just that out of 40/ 50 odd transfers this would have been one of only a handful that wouldn't have looked short term. Dawson might indeed be the best bet now, but he is hardly an investment.Who wd run a football club, eh?

Bit bemused by that Brights. The strategy is not to get ripped off anymore like we were before. The board cannot win they spent big few season back and are accused of wasting money and overpaying for players they then switch strategy and start offering realistic contracts and they cannot get the players through the door and their accused of having the wrong strategy and not paying enough!!!! there in-between a rock and a hard place

In premier league terms were a small at the very best medium sized club and we need to cut our cloth accordingly. If that cloth is not enough to attract the likes of Caulker then so be it good luck to him and we move on to the next iron in the fire.

The QPR I started supporting done good business, found gems and turned them into stars; the first few transfer windows when we spent more then we should have were fun and exciting but that's not the club I fell in love with. If we build organically and over time put ourselves in the position to spend big im all for that but until that moment comes I am happy doing or business quietly and only spending what we can realistically afford

QPR is not a free lunch anymore if you sign for my club then expect to pay your way in blood and sweat

Oh, and then jumped ship at the first opportunity as if he's above the Championship...... And why? Couldn't break into a Spurs team then farmed out on loan before being sold to a newly promoted team, who went down. I'd say the Championship may be his level so don't care one bit if we don't sign him.

Actually no I'm sorry I'm normally a very positive person but what in the blue **** is going on at qpr ? Phil beard or whoever deals with transfers in clearly inept and not up to the job . Every window we have the same problem why can't someone of Tonys 'nous' see that ? It's ****ing ridiculous that we are 5 weeks from action with not one body through the door . Tony said a week ago we were closing in on out first singing and well done the scouts yet **** all has materialized . He's not worth the hype and pant wetting on the forum. Decent maybe, but in prem terms nothing that great. The simple fact is he's English so the price is inflated, and with higher prices sometimes the actual quality of the player gets clouded simply because they cost "X" amount. If he goes elsewhere so be it.

We can't go around spending mad money. If we hadn't lucked out with promotion last season the situation would be very, very dire for QPR as a going concern.

As for Palace, their lowest attendance last season? 22,466. Ours the season before in the PL? 16,658.

i think some of us really dont understand in the big sea which is the premier league we are the smallest fish,alongside burnley . maybe not as attractive,bar stupid wages,as we ourselves believe....my only concern is dont let it drag on n move on to another target!
