Hope so! I don't blame him, its his life and he needs to do what's best for him. But I'm not him and from a qpr point of view we need to move on and find a young player to fill that spot.... also can see us holding out for him and him going elsewhere leaving us with nothing.

So he's waiting for Rio to pass his medical and if he does he'll sign. But while he waits he's seeing what other options are out their in case Rio fails (C.Palace and Southampton)..... hmmmm seems a very realistic guess.

Cardiff can accept bids from all the clubs who meet his release clause whilst he remains their player. The player himself hasn't spoken to Southampton and only had one meeting with Palace a while back. I'd be surprised if he didn't sign for us.

All very usual transfer negotiations going on in the background.
