I know what youre saying pal, and if he had put a constructive arguement over then Im sure people would respect his points and argue theirs back, but when he puts a statement just saying "he is utter ****", then he deserves the sort of replies he got IMHO.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

He's no messiah to anyone here, but in S Korea he has the same popularity as Beckham. This is not just a sound football signing, but a great one for Tony's plans for us as a global brand.
You may not like him as a player, and that's your call, but it's a bigger signing than we've made in yearsComment

I think Park will be a good signing, He has a good work rate and scores a few goals too. Not to mention his experience as a winner with PSV and Man Utd.
If that isn't enough, he is a superstar in south Korea and Asia. QPR have a chance to sell a large number of shirts with his name on the back in the far East.Comment

Mate of mine goes to all Man Utd games, usually has so much to say and can't shut his bloody mouth. Meet him yesterday and all he said was "Did you hear about Park... Good deal for you and us".
I then turned round and said "2 million, could have got more", I didn't get a response... think his gutted to be honest!

Dave, perhaps this article will help explain it:
"QPR plan to confirm the marquee signing of South Korean star Park Ji-sung from Manchester United later today.
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes will attend today’s press conference. The 31-year-old is scheduled to be unveiled at a press conference in central London this afternoon, at which Asian media will be heavily represented.
Rangers see Park’s arrival as a statement of intent – and pivotal to the Tony Fernandes-led regime’s plan to grow a large Asian fanbase.
Park is the most decorated player in the continent’s history and was a popular figure at United, where he won four Premier League titles and the Champions League during his seven years at Old Trafford."

Who on earth was saying he was as good as Messi?
And don't call me a ****, just because I feel that your requirements for a big signing are out of whack with reality.
Bless your little cotton socks for feeling so strongly about it though.Comment
