QPR have completed the permanent signing of Christian Pullella from Perth Glory.
The defender has joined the club for an undisclosed fee and will initially link up with the Development Squad.
Pullella, who spent five years with Glory and has made four appearances for Australia U17s to date, said: “I'm feeling great.
“I'm just happy to get everything signed and be part of QPR. As soon as I heard they were interested, it was a yes from me, 100 percent.”
Fellow Aussies - and former Glory players - Daniel Bennie and Jaylan Pearman have already made the move to W12, and Pullella admits he has been in touch with the pair.
“They both messaged me prior to coming,” he said. “They’ve had nothing but positive things to say about everyone here, so it’s really exciting to be part of it.
“I think the club's putting a lot of priority into the youth, their academy and the training facilities.
“They've also announced they're applying for Category 1 status, so they obviously value their academy very highly.”
An attack-minded left-back, Pullella admitted: “My first target is getting out on the pitch, and I just can’t wait to get started.”
CEO Christian Nourry said: “Christian has performed well for the Australia youth national team over the last 18 months and brings a balanced full-back profile to the Development Squad with the athletic potential to have a successful professional football career.”

Agreed and when he came on and played right mid in one of those games he looked tidy then.Originally posted by Jeffqpr View PostHe’s hardly played & been mostly in the dev squad, christ give the boy a chance & let him develop & get used to the championship & that goes with a few of our players
I think there might be something there with him, just give him time and some more first team experience.

Who'd want Nardi? He's too young to be a "fake 2nd choice" and not reliable enough to be a No.1? We would be okay with just Walsh and Hamer as emergency rules let you loan in a goalie anytime they're injured. The caveat is that the loanee has to be less experienced than the existing backup goalie, ie Hamer who's 40+yrs old isn't he? So, in an emergency, we can loan in virtually any GK that is available cos they'll be younger than Hamer.Originally posted by 3London View PostAnything going to happen today?
One of hte clickbait sites says Ipswich are interested in Kone which is obviously not going to happen!
Maybe Nardi will move on but can't see much more happening.
We have spent out money on Edwards i guess

Sam's performances just haven't been up to scratch for at least 18 months. No idea why that is, maybe he needs to be a regular starter to keep himself in the groove? Anyhow, if he can get more starts elsewhere I'd say it makes sense for him to go.

"Sam Field is undergoing a medical at Norwich City after they agreed to sign him on loan from Queens Park Rangers, sources have told Football Insider.
Derby County and Charlton Athletic were also in the running to sign the 27-year-old but the Canaries have moved quickly to beat them to an agreement."
