The focus on left back is important but at least we have Rhys (for now). The fact that we don't have a single Rb is another one. No number 8 of any real measure of worth is another.

Ronnie is a great signing and will add a lot to the team. If after this season ends we're still playing peg games outside of injuries then huge questions must be asked about our recruitment and those responsible.

On the subject of full backs I honestly can’t remember the last time we signed an out and out right back Todd Kane?

our full back options for the last few years has been terrible

re a decent number 8 credit to Madsen him or Burrell been our player of the season to date I know he’s not a out and out 8 but he’s all we’ve got in terms of cm creativity

Thing is, RND is pretty average and seems to need a rest every third game. He's obviously an upgrade on the dross we've had at left back for several years but I can't see him as a strong contender to be our 1st choice left back next year. We are still woefully short of solid, robust and reliable specialist fullbacks and it'd make sense to try and get at least one in during this window. If we don't, we'll need to have a busy summer.

But, I suppose the club could just carry on disregarding the full-back positions as per usual and just lash anybody to hand with a pulse and a pair of boots into the roles.

Bodö Glimts Fredrik Bjorkan would be ideal as LB. They will next week crash out of the CL.

…..wouldn’t mind Berg, MF, and Högh, CF, either. They love English football and are a lot cheaper than British alternatives. Sell Varane and Frey and we have, almost, the money for it.

I don't recall how to spell his name and can't be arsed to look it up. Haventta? Whatever it was. Did we release him or is he out on loan again this year? I don't think the club we loaned him to purchased him in the end.

But also Adamson is a right back I believe. at least he has the #2 in squad numbers which is probably why I think he's a right back at least.

Kealey Adamson is a Right Back. He's 22 years of age and we've decided to have specialist CBs play instead of him. That opens up all kinds of possibilities.

If it's Hevertton Santos you're thinking of I believe he's on loan at Gil Vicente. We probably don't want him back as he was probably the worst RB I can recall seeing for a long, long time.

QPR are keen on Elfsborg striker Jalal Abdullai along with Swansea City, according to reporter Rudy Galetti on X.

QPR are said to be interested in luring the attacker over to England before the end of the January transfer window. They have until the deadline on Monday 2nd February to complete any final bits of business.

                    Another striker ???

We`re probably not interested now that we signed the striker from Coventry. Jalal will also be very expensive I think.

QPR have made a £1m offer to Dundee for centre-back Luke Graham, but Portsmouth are expected to make another bid after having a £400,000 offer rejected, while Sheffield United, Aberdeen and Hearts are also interested in the 21-year-old. (LondonWorld)

Barry Bannon is off to Millwall apparantly, what a signing that would have been for us.

Jayden Wareham, a player we released in 2019, is doing very well for Exeter City as a number 9 at the mo, just saying.
