Rather Glenn Murray than a younger Jordan Rhodes at least he's got a bit more about him. However the service to any CF needs to be better than what we've been dishing up Bos either needs to sign or go and Chair needs to learn to get the ball more than 5 inches of the ground.

Much prefer Murray to Rhodes. Murray’s done it at the top level and he’s a very clever player. Loan to the end of the season is a very shrewd signing. Got to feel for Bonne though. Scored 11 in a s.hite Charlton side last season and doesn’t get a sniff even with Dykes drawing blanks every week and now Murray coming in.

Agree about Bonne but to be honest i don't care if any get the hump as long as we avoid division 1.Originally posted by Fordy View PostMuch prefer Murray to Rhodes. Used to watch Murray regularly when Brighton played at the local athletics stadium. Nickname then was carthorse and I have never seen anyone get caught offside as much as he did. However, always worked hard and has improved massively over the years into a good striker. 37 obviously a concern, particularly as he was never quick to begin with, but could be useful option for very short term and offer us something a bit different.Originally posted by Fordy View PostMuch prefer Murray to Rhodes. Rangers are hoping to also complete a deal to sign winger Alfie Doughty from Charlton this week.Originally posted by ConorQPR2000 View PostSean Gallagher also saying that we have a bid accepted for midfielder Alfie Doughty from Charlton.
However Celtic and Rangers are in talks as well as a number of other clubs so we have a bit of a battle on our hands on this one.
They have indicated that they would be willing to loan Doughty, 21, back to the Addicks for the rest of the season.
