No, try and sell to raise £3m in transfer fees to cover the wages of the incoming players. That will reduce put the squad wages in effect as we were close to breaching FFP again and need to prepare for next season when we will lose £10m in sky money.

Not sure its as easy as that - raise £3m = liquidity, wages = profitability (difference between incoming & outgoing wages), unamortised cost of outgoing players write off? Incoming player on frees = no amortisation, ongoing saving of wages differential between outgoing and incoming players benefits profitability but still needs to be paid.

Its all too much for me!

What was the Sky money again? Something to do with extra Sky money paid in the deal with the PL which increased our parachute payment I seem to remember, which we will lose next season, as opposed to ongoing Sky TV money for the showing of current season games.

Hes got loads pf experience and a great mentor for Smyth. Wouldnt cost the earth either I would have thought. Surely good for 60mins and ten goals a season, more than Washy.
