Martin is currently on a reportedly £30k per week Smith will be on about £10k so not so good business.

Villa have half a dozen players on more. Players like Grealish, Richards, Kodja, Chester, McCormack, Hogan, Agbonlahor and we think we have got problems.

He was exactly what we needed in the last window of our premier stay but now he's four years past that time , there's got to be a young hungry defender out there that we might be able to persuade to join us

Agent claims they are still in negotiations if not is expected to go to Monaco, slightly higher up the food chain than us.
