All well and good signing players that are versatile,we already have enough of those, will be yet another season that the glaringly obvious of not having a decent striker is not addressed

Remind me - how much do Joe Hart go to Burnley for? £3.5m wasn’t it!
As for Smyth, posters were spitting the same dummies out over Eze, but the club done the things the right way and whilst everyone was wildly speculating the club were negotiating the new deal signed yesterday. We believe it or not do not know what’s going on in the background.
Didn’t realise Smithies has a separate July transfer window and we couldn’t have waited. Would be interested what better options Warnock could have got in the same budget rather than having our 1st choice and arguably the leagues best keeper for that price

Hart by contrast, was unwanted at that club earning £130k a week. Last season City paid him £55k a week not to be there hence the low fee. Nice sign on fee instead i imagine with Burnley’s wages

You can remind me if you like how much Ward. Liverpool’s 3rd choice keeper (knowing how bad the 1st choice was is saying something) went for this summer. Or Angus ‘howler at the Loft’ Gunn went for as comparisons.

Eze had two years left and signed up an extra one now. Smyth like I already said i’m sure we have offered a deal but is likely looking increasingly likely is running it down to leave on a free or on the cheap with Bournemouth sniffing. I wouldn’t stand for that. Would use what leverage we’ve got after the window.

Let´s keep this thread going instead. Maybe we can get a new record for number of posts per senior player signed in one window.

Sofar we have 851 posts and only one player in.

See what you mean, but we have Sylla. He is decent..) On a more serious note; Maybe we are looking to get in a more routined striker on loan. Just a thought.

Turns out we cannot even compete in the transfer market with Peterborough ffs Another (pretty irrelevant now) piece of info. It was only #itfc and #posh that reached agreements with #asfc for Kayden Jackson. #qpr, despite previous interest, didn't. It was always a Hurst reunion that appealed to him.

TF said recently that this is the best QPR squad in years. It may not be the best but it is certainly the comfiest based on our activity in the market.

Or perhaps we didn't think he was worth it?
                        There's a thought eh.

Windass to Ipswich basically done. Another rumour put to bed. Getting a.rsehold by teams like Ipswich and Blackburn for players now. Competing with the likes of Rotherham now
