Would need at least one more CB if only for cover IMO unless we are going to throw the youth in there.

It's such a refreshing change, We are short in defense and lack quality in attack, and we have signed on cb and looking at Sainsbury, hugill and Martin. If clownhead was still manager, he would have signed 4 more wingers. It's great to now have a manager that has a clue.

Depends how skint we are , I still think the club will cash in on Luongo will we get what he's worth ? I don't know ! But I think a lot swings on that

Thats the thing..... How much IS Luongo worth. Never played higher than Championship level although he has improved markedly over the last 2/3 years. But occaisionally players like him can go for £10m plus if clubs want a player that badly.

Jeff I think he only really improved last season down to either the arrival of scowens or Holloway upping his game , but for me the previous two years you could see a player in him in fits and starts but went absent for long periods

Never in a million years would we get £10 million for him ,I suspect similar "peanuts" bid like the smithies sale would see him leave

With two years left on his contract I'd be amazed if we got more than £4m for Luongo and I'd be surprised if it was more than £3m.

He's right though, there's no way in hell anyone would offer 10m for Luongo, nor is he worth anywhere near that.
