Would love this, but unfortunately this post was posted straight after the "C'mon start some rumoirs" post.

            @PhilSpenc23
He was linked with QPR in January, and it seems that the Hoops are back in the hunt for Stevenage striker Danny Newton #QPRhttps://www.football.london/queens-park-rangers-fc/qpr-re-enter-race-alongside-14724470 …
QPR re-enter the race for Stevenage striker Danny Newton

The Hoops were linked with a move for the frontman in January, but nothing concrete materialised as he saw out the season with the League Two side.

Danny Newton is a seriously good player
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

More hope and guesswork Jeff sorry didn't mean to mislead, think he's out of favour at Derby though, although Lamplard
coming in might make a difference i spose

No worries Dave, he’s not a bad striker & if was it was 4mil that’s a bit too much but you never know, would take a loan.

This FLW site is quite entertaining , they suggest the 3 players Mac needs to
sign before the world cup are Martin, (Derby) Lichaj (Forest) Otzumer (Walsall)
The Walsall fella is a bit of star at their club

Yes it is & would take the forest guy, Martin undecided & don’t know anything about Walsall bloke.

Erhun Oztumer sounds a decent bet, and in our price range as he's a free!!

The Saddlers are already planning for life without Oztumer, their top scorer for the last two seasons, after he expressed a wish to assess his options this summer.

Bolton, Preston and Blackburn, who were promoted from League One this term, are all reported to be interested in the 27-year-old, whose contract at the Banks’s is due to expire at the end of next month.

Oztumer, who began his career at non-league outfit Dulwich Hamlet, scored 32 goals in all competitions after joining the Saddlers as a free agent in the summer of 2016.

He is understood rejected several offers of a new and improved deal at the Banks’s and in March made clear his ambition to play at the highest level possible.
