That rumour was doing the rounds a few weeks ago. Be amazed if we bring a keeper in even if Green moves on. Smithies is more than capable and Lumley as back up then reassess in the summer if need be.Originally posted by Hitman34 View Post

Reputable source? Doesn't seem like a validated number based on the historical demands of the club. As for Frazier, would like to avoid if possible.Originally posted by Hitman34 View PostShoot @_shootfootball

£4m? Less than we paid.. Would keep him unless we get more than £5m.Originally posted by Hitman34 View PostShoot @_shootfootball

Fair enough suggestion I suppose. Would be an absolute steal at that price though. 4 Mil for a Homegrown winger who can actually cross the ball. Bargain really.Originally posted by Hitman34 View Postall about the wages and him wanting to stay at qpr. if he doesnt then whats the point.
he will just run his contract down like austin otherwise."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Phillips has been generally poor over his time here. For me his level is Championship. When you see some of the figures players are going for though, he's worth a few quid as he's got talent.
A club will think they can improve him and plenty of interested parties. Anything above the £5m mark and I'd move him on. The majority of the squad needs dismantling and now is the time to do it if we get suitable offers. It'll give Jimmy and potential new signings 5 months together and will only help for next season.
January is difficult to buy players though, but even loaning players Jimmy is interested in will be beneficial.

I have to disagree totally. Consider the fact that I'd say he's been one of our better players this season when played in his correct position, couple that with his incredible run when he actually got games last season and the fact that he got injured as he was hitting good form the season before and I'd say if anything, his stock should have gone up massively from where it began.Originally posted by Mattyqpr View PostPhillips has been generally poor over his time here.
