We all slate Phillips then he pops up with an assist or two and is arguably our most attacking player. Deadly cross and shot on him just needs to do it more often instead of trying to take on everyone.

I think he's quality mate but he just doesn't seem to be focused for the full 90 mins anymore. As others have said we see glimpses during the match where he's deadly and makes things happen. He is by far the best winger we ha e but I just get the impression he doesn't want to be here.

Did we actually receive any firm offers in the summer, I seem to remember lots of talk but very little action ! Phillips is not good enough to play regular Premier League football anyway, could be in future but not convinced.

Given he is used in the right way, Philips is more than good enough to play in the prem. He dominated the last few games we played last season, mind you.

I think he's more than good enough - just look at his stats in the league last year from jan when he was finally played.

Right now I'd question his desire not his ability.
