Its only the bottomfeeders of football league who are butthurt about this situation.
What really annoys me is that we 'failed' The Football League's FFP because of contracts entered into whilst we were in The Premier League.....you can't get out of those contracts so what in the hell were we supposed to do to meet our new league's FFP rules?.....Given that time travel isn't an option, we couldn't do a thing about it so what purpose does a massive fine serve?

That's part of the reason why it won't hold up in a court of law - and it's subsequently been modified to the point where it's slowly disappearing under the carpet.

The solution is very very simple.

Allow clubs to cancel contracts if you're relegated.

At the end of the day it won't happen will it, because although it was those very players who took you down, players run the game now, not the authorities, plus you couldn't cancel the contracts of players who had been injured or not selected. But proves FFP is flawed.
